Dictatorship, the misunderstood answer to third world countries development (number words = 265)

Dictatorship is a government in which a person has absolute control without any limitations. Today when people hear dictatorship the first thing that pops into their minds is violation of people's rights and freedom. Dictators can also abuse power over citizens. The solution to all these problems is ''democracy'', which is when citizens have a say in their government. Democracy has been a great political philosophy that first/second world countries want to establish in third world countries. The question is, “ is it a good idea for countries who are still developing an understanding of what and how a government should work to adopt democracy?”
Democracy doesn't always work in third world countries. There are traditional and cultural differences to consider such as all the different tribes. We can't just expect a modern way of democracy to work for third world countries. Democracy is said “ to be extremely narrow and alien to African culture”("Is Democracy Good For Africa?" ). Democracy should arise naturally not be brought in by foreign influence. Dictatorship although said to be bad, can just be the right system to keep third world countries into a stable state to facilitate development. It is important to recognize the failure of democracy and let the dictatorship system continue since it has its success. We are to explore countries in third world that were/are better off under dictatorship. Zimbabwe for example who's dictator Mugabe gave 51 % of foreign owned business share to citizens, increasing jobs. Dictatorship might be the answer to third world countries' stability and economic growth.
